Piccolo

Päiväkoti Piccolo is a private daycare center located in the heart of Porvoo town. Piccolo provides daycare services colored with stories. Piccolo offers early childhood education services for one to five year old children in Finnish language. Currently we have three child groups. Our atmosphere is warm and homely.

For kids the natural way of learning is through play. Creative and narrative methods form a cornerstone of Piccolo model.

Our concept

In the Piccolo model, the early childhood education plan is accompanied by storytelling. Teachings through stories are part of the daily program of the Piccolo kindergarten. Creative methods and storytelling make our journey together fascinating!

Premises of Piccolo

Premises of Piccolo are located in the Porvoo center within good connections. We have plenty of room for our three groups of children. We make visits in the nearby playgrounds, forests and sports fields, almost every day. In addition we have our own small playground.
